Arrival to Pula airport. Transfe by Gulliver coach and a guide to the hotel in Pula. Dinner and overnight.
D2 PULA
Pula is the capital of the Istria region and a famous port for over 2000 years. Visit of the town: Roman amphitheatre, built by the emperor Vespasian, one of the six still standing in the world, Arc de Triomphe– Porta Aurea and Augustus temple which the emperor dedicated to the goddess Roma. In the afternoon, transfer by boat to the Briuni archipelago. This small archipelago is a real treasure of monuments built from the neolith period till the last century, when it was a summer destination of the Yugoslav elite and its former president. More than 5000 years of human culture is present on the surface of 7km2. Visit to the Park of Briuni and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
D3 PULA – PLITVICE
Departure towards the Lika region which is separated from the coast by the massive of Mala Kapela. Hidden by high mountains the nature created one of its masterpieces – National Park Plitvice Lakes Its 16 lakes are interlinked by numerous cascades and waterfalls. Don’t miss the opportunity to take a ride on the boat or by panoramic train. Lunch and in the afternoon a walk through the park. Dinner in a traditional restaurant and overnight.
D4 PLITVICE – ZAGREB
A visit to Croatia would not be complete without visiting its capital. Across Lika we arrive that morning to Zagreb situated in the fertile plain of the river Sava. Discover the Upper Town and the old core of Kaptol, but above all, the vivid life of its market Dolac. Maybe it is the multicoloured church of St. Mark or the florists on Dolac market place , the Stone Gate and its chapel or the old gas lamps that can be called the symbols of Zagreb in the past. Lunch. Free afternoon for individual visits of numerous galleries or museums of Zagreb. Dinner and overnight.
D5 ZAGREB – POSTOJNA – LIPICA – OPATIJA
Whole day in Slovenia. The Postojna cave is amongst one of the biggest and most beautiful caves of Europe. In this karstique region nature created this wonder that we will visit by a small electric train and on foot . Lunch. Continuation towards Lipica. In this stud farm the Lipizzaner horses have been raised for 400 years. Descent towards the Croatian coast – Opatija, a seaside resort founded by the Austrians at the end of the XIX century and that has to this day preserved some of its old charm. Accommodation at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
D6 OPATIJA – KRK TOUR
The island of Krk is the biggest island of the 46 inhabited ones in Croatia. Connected with the mainland by the bridge, it is nowadays easily accessible to visitors. First, we shall visit a small islet of Košljun and its monastery which houses a beautiful collection of boat models. Lunch in the village of Vrbnik, in a tavern where you will have the opportunity to taste the famous white wine from Krk – “Vrbnička Žlahtina”. In the afternoon, we continue towards the town of Krk. Orientational visit and free time to enjoy a stroll through the main square dominated by the beautiful church of “Assumption”. Return to Opatija for dinner and overnight.

D7 OPATIJA – ROVINJ – MOTOVUN – OPATIJA
Istria is often called “The magic land”. It’s villages situated on the hills have that magic charm that can surprise you on every step. Rovinj’s small streets vaulted and paved in stone are alive in both summer and winter. They will lead you towards the central hill dominated by the St. Euphemia church. Lunch and in the afternoon continuation to Motovun – built on a cliff. Visit and return to Opatija for dinner and overnight.
D8 OPATIJA – PULA
Transfer from the hotel to Pula airport.
