My work at Gulliver travel in the Mainstream department started in the 2015 season and during past few years, I had the opportunity to work in a variety of activities: from private and hotel accommodation to excursions and transfers. So, I can say that I had a great opportunity to experience and learn more about the work process inside Gulliver and learn from more experienced colleagues. For the past year, I was part of a team that has successfully improved business models. I've been working in Gulliver travel for three years and I can literally not imagine a better team than ours. I would consider the work at Gulliver as excellent. My positive impressions are, among other things related to the way our drivers present themselves at work. Tidiness, accuracy, decency and meticulousness are a must-have for the day-to-day work they are adhering to. It is really nice to hear the praise that we regularly receive from our guests and partners. I would like to emphasize the promptness in relation to paying wages that is always accurate and that we never have to worry about a possible delay or something else. I would end with excellent co-operation within all departments in the agency and the readiness to provide any kind of help from everyone. Particularly this applies to work within our Logistics sector where teamwork is most pronounced and where you can rely on anyone regardless of whose ''business it is''.

It will be ten years in a few months since I started working as a part of the Gulliver travel team, first as a tourist agent for British guests staying in the hotels in Dubrovnik. Very soon I switched to the office where I was in charge of service and ground handling. After a few years I switched to the department MICE and business trips where I am now. In addition to organizing various types of conferences and prizes that are typical for MICE business, I have been organizing weddings for a number of years mainly in cooperation with British partners. On the one hand, we work with agencies that we offer basic services in the organization of mostly civil ceremonies, and on the other hand we work directly with clients i.e. with the bridal couple to arrange special services in order to turn their great day into a wonderful experience for them as well as for their guests. The work experience in Gulliver travel provides many opportunities from developing your own potential through various projects, events, education and travel, to creative work on developing new products and services. It''s always dynamic, it''s often stressful, the days and hours can be very long, but with the constant support of colleagues, both professional and "moral", the ultimate outcome is always a satisfied client.

By coming to Gulliver Travel, just over two years ago, in the Intercruises department, Port agency section, in spite of many years of experience gained in the travel agencies and partly in the Port agency, I realized that I still lack much knowledge in this area. With great support from the entire team of Intercrusies departments, I built that knowledge day by day. Thanks to very concrete and constructive advice and implementing some of my previously acquired knowledge and experience, I have been ready for the first season and I am convinced that I’ve done my work very good. I would also like to mention that I have repeatedly been convinced that our agency recognizes individuals and their achievements, which further encourages even greater efforts both individually and within the departments and even agencies as a whole. Recently promoted, I am currently in the position of Head of Department of Port agency within the Intercruises department, which poses additional challenges ahead of me and I have set some additional goals for myself to improve the business processes within the department itself. I can say with certainty that within my current team and in the existing environment, success is unavoidable. Teamwork within Intercruises sector, and cooperation of shorex and port agency department in order to provide quality service to the cruise companies we work with, is at very high level, which is best exemplified in the most complex part of the business sector – home port operations (port of loading / unloading). These days, every member of the team, in addition to its core responsibilities, actively participates in the home port operation to keep it all in the right order.
